Welcome to Boltby Church
A peaceful place of worship and prayer set in the picturesque North York Moors
HISTORY
There has been a chapel in Boltby since 1409. The current church of Holy Trinity dates back to 1802. It was extended in 1859 and the porch was added in 1907.
Boltby Church has always been closely associated with the church at Felixkirk, and was originally a chapel of ease for the village, with Felixkirk as the main parish church.
Today it is a place of regular village worship and a popular stopping point for walkers and cyclists.
Serving the communities of Boltby, Felixkirk, Thirlby, Sutton-under-Whitestonecliffe, and all those passing through.
Our church is a much loved and cared for part of our village. Services are held every second and fourth Sunday at 11am and the doors are open daily between dawn and dusk for private prayer and reflection. Visitors are very welcome.
